Program Purpose
Alief ISD is providing 3rd -12th grade students with a device to allow each student access to the required educational materials needed to promote and enhance learning. This device is the property of Alief ISD. The supplied device is an educational tool for the assigned student for on-campus and at-home learning activities and is not intended for non-instructional gaming and personal use, or for use by other members of the household.
While 2nd grade is not part of the 1:1 device take-home checkout program, each student receives a Chromebook or laptop for use during the school day. Students in grades PK-1 have shared access to iPads for learning activities during the school day.
Student & Family Responsibilities
Ensure students bring their charged device to school everyday.
Practice good digital citizenship and safety.
Abide by all terms and conditions of the
School and classroom procedures
Report any issues with or damage to devices to campus Technology Specialist in a timely manner.
